This is the basic structure of my DNA:

I love the Lord,

I am prone to taking on challenges,

and I am passionate about life - everything from hot air balloons to Disney World to s'mores to front porches with rocking chairs.

This is what that looks like:

Exhibit A: A 10 week, 10,000 mile road trip around the United States:

Exhibit B: A long and ever-growing list of what I love most about life.

Exhibit C: An overwhelming conviction of the beauty in this truth:

God is building a home. He's using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.

Ephesians 2:19-22 (The Message)

This is why this website exists:

I'm just a normal girl, saved by grace and filled to the brim with the conviction that God designed each of us with a specific, individual, world-changing purpose. I'm still learning more about mine and I'd love to help you discover yours, too. Whether it's preaching the gospel half-way across the world or building paper airplanes at the local museum or waxing poetic about mason jars on a blog, your deliberately-given gifts have a powerful place in God's plan.

I believe that beautiful things happen when we live real lives, when we know the Lord and are empowered by His Holy Spirit to simply be who He created us to be.

It fires me up to see people living that way. I want to live that way. I want that for you, too.

I hope that when you are here you feel welcomed, loved, and empowered to be YOU.
