staying hungry : noosa yoghurt

I'd seen Noosa in the organic case at Wegmans before. It looked good, but I was content to stick with my tried and true family-size carton of Greek yogurt. And since my body composition is probably 50% yogurt to begin with I figured it was just as well to pass on a new genre to add to the mix.
But then one day, a representative from the company was handing out samples. And I thought, sure, why not? And I got about 3 feet away from the sample station when I did an immediate about-face and begged for the coupon I had initially refused. Because .50 cents off of one carton would go a long way in easing the financial burden of buying out the entire case.

OH MY WORD.
I've literally never tasted anything like Noosa before. Their website describes the yogurt (which, coming from Austrailia, they spell "yoghurt") as, "uniquely thick and velvety, deliciously tangy/sweet," and that's the best explaination I can offer short of telling you that it's the best thing you'll eat all year.
Seriously.
After my mom tried it, she did a Janice style, "Oh...my...gosh..." and then started planning which flavors to bring into work for her friends to try.
I tried the mango and loved it so much that I can't bring myself to try any other flavor, but they also offer raspberry, blueberry, strawberry rhubarb, peach, and honey. (I just rattled those off without even looking at the website. I don't even care: I'm that addicted.)
And good news! If you don't live near a Wegmans, you can also find Noosa at select Super Target, Whole Foods, and Fresh Market locations, along with a bunch of other locations. Just enter your location here and they'll direct you to the closest retailer.
If you have to travel to find it, it's totally worth the drive. Make sure you stock up so you don't have to go back the next day later that day.
But one way or another, try this yogurt. Immediately if not sooner.
