three inconsequential things

1. My dad and I are both working from home right now. He works downstairs, I work upstairs. We usually just climb/descend the three flights of stairs in between when we need to talk about something, but yesterday we both resorted to calling each other from our respective floors to converse about pressing matters.

Call #1: (Me) "Guess how old Pat Sajak is?!"

Call #2: (Dad) "Try to guess which coaches MSN listed as 'on the hot seat.'"

Imperative communication right there.

Yankee Candle's Apple Pumpkin Candle (fall never smelled better)

Trader Joe's Quick Cook Steel Cut Oatmeal (the answer to all of my oatmeal prayers)

New Notebooks from Target (it's an addiction)

College Football (that hasn't happened in a long, long time)

NFL Football (duh)

Parenthood (hand me that box of tissues, please)

Nashville (so nice to see you again, Connie Britton)

The Voice (I believe in you, Trevin!!! You can do it!!!)

$24 in 24 (SO beautifully shot, so nicely designed, so well hosted!)

3. I'm listening to Christmas music on Pandora right now. And I'm not even a little bit ashamed of it.
